You wouldn't think you'd need to advertise a car you see out on every block when you're out on the streets driving.
The average Joe on the street isn't going to know about the new powerplants though, and that's where advertising is needed.

I wish GM would air more commercials for the Camaro or Corvette. Like someone else said, the vette doesn't really need one, but they're still cool to see. I remember when GM just started that "An American Revolution" slogan, and they aired a commercial where a Corvette catches up to a big rig hauling other Chevy cars, does a 180 and backs up onto the rig. It was awesome.

Ford doesn't need to advertise the mustang.

But it definitely helps.

I think that may be the lamest commercial I've ever seen- boring, couldnt keep my attention, and said MPG so many times I can't believe I sat through it.

I see everyones giving it props but seriously? I'm even a marketing executive and I don't see it.

The only person with good commercials is Jeep.... and maybe some hyundai and Cadillac. Although I must say I'm partial to Jeep since they engage the marketing strategy my team developed

2010 Camaro SS modified extensively. I stretched the body to make it a 4 door, but I swapped in the 3.6L DI V6 for fuel economy. Then I picked up a corvette body around the V8. I also swapped the body for a C2 Z28. (In short I traded it for three cars, a Corvette Z06r, a C2 Camaro Z28, and a Cadillac CTS Summer Performance package 3.6L DI with Aisin 6spd.)
