Yeah, it was almost feeling like this was a site about Camaros!

You are against fanboism??????????? Are you kidding? You do know you are bragging about the mustang on a camaro site right? I don't know where one would find the definition of a fanboy, but I am pretty sure it would show your picture.

Are you serious? Some people just like cars in general .. I'll take Ford, Chevy or Dodge and would back up bashers of either in any forum.

I misspoke. I meant extreme fanboism.

I love all cars. I like Camaros and I love vettes.

I just hate when people make absolutely retarded ass statements. I will defend the mustang when it comes to that. Same as I would the Camaro.

Motor Trend's car dynoed 377rwhp.

Muscle Mustangs and Fast Fords car dynoed 375rwhp.

Private owned 2011 GT dynoed 375rwhp.

Motor Trend's car that went 12.8 was not a ringer. We already have seen a base 2011 GT with the sorry 18 inch wheels and horrible tires along with just a 3.31 gear run 12.7s.

Also a neat dyno graph of a stock 2011GT and stock 2010 SS. They are overlayed on each other.

Camaro in blue/Mustang in Red

I went to a dealer show yesterday and saw the v6, gt, and new gt500. I didn't like ANY of them. Even the GT500. It had the SVT package and I can't stand the narrow stripes. From the front, they're fine (other then the pony package v6 I saw....hate that grille) but the back..... I can't get into it no matter how hard I try. I love mustangs, just not these =/

Just a thought, you might want to check out the name of this sub-forum. Maybe I'm missing something, but why would you talk about the '10 camaro in the sub-forum that is specifically about cars other than the '10 camaro?

"General Automotive + Other Cars Discussion"

Isn't the mustang the camaro's lead competitor? Does it not make sense that the mustang would be widely discussed in the "other cars" section of a camaro site? The mustang forums have a sticky specifically about ls1 f-bodies in the track section... You'd probably soil yourself and have an aneurism if they did that for mustangs here.

Wow, if that graph is accurate, the GT doesn't start making real torque until almost 4000 RPM. That's quite the slope in the lower RPMs.

I still say screw what the pros are getting, what is the average driver going to get.

I put the average camaro driver with an LS3 at 13.5 to 13.9, average 5.0 driver 13.4-13.8 most of the time these times will be wrost. It's that simple, what can YOU get out of the car not what others who drive for a living can. And let's face it most buyers of these cars are average to way below average when it comes to driving it how its meant to be. Point here is stop the Benchracing.

To be expected when compared to an engine with around 76 more cubic inches.

Good thing gearing cures that.
