Any Camaro birthdays yet?

I won't be celebrating my car's birthday until July but was wondering if there have been any yet and what you've done to celebrate it.

Happy Birthday!

Mine is today! May 15 one year ago, I was driving this baby for the first time. I changed back into summer tires and wheels today and will give her a little exercise later. The clock says 6800 miles.

Woot. I can't wait to see pictures and stories of the celebrations. I think I will give Cami a good massage (waxing), dress her all up (detail with tire dressing), supply her favorite foods mobile one and Mustangs, and take her somewhere really special.

My Camaro's birthday is next week --- May 19th, which is the same as my parents wedding anniversary...

Last year, 5/19/09, was the 1st anniversary they spent together since my mom had passed away in 1994, so it was a double blessing...it made their anniversary happier for me than I would have been if I hadn't gotten the Camaro that day...

I know I will never forget my HWAY STR's birthday...

My car was actually built on May 1st, which is my son's birthday, and my dad retired the day Mark was born...(that was a coincidence too, since Mark was born a month prematurely, and my dad had put in for his early retirement the year before)...

The CO for my Camaro was dated May 6th, which is my ACTUAL wedding anniversary, and that is cool because Keith and I bought the Camaro for each other as an anniversary gift!!!...

The car was delivered to my dealer in Virginia on 5/18, which was my sister's wedding anniversary and it was also 8 months since my dad had died...

We took Amtrak from NY to VA the next day to take delivery!!!...

I bought the car from a close friend I had worked with years before who had moved to VA when we both lost our jobs when the company we worked for moved...we had just re-connected on Classmates.com a few months prior, and it turned out that he manages a Chevy dealership in VA...

At the time, the Camaro wasn't even a thought in my brain...I was just so happy to be in touch with my friend again...when I did decide we wanted the Camaro, I asked him if we could buy it from him...
I got a double bonus there, because I not only got my Camaro, but I got to see my best friend again after so many years apart...

The 'magically eerie thing' about all the significant dates attached to my car seems like quite a miracle to me...that's because when I ordered my car on 1/2/09, I had NO IDEA at the time if, and when, my car would ever actually happen...

and the rest, as they say, 'is history'....

So, now I will do my very happy, very blessed 'forum smilie dance' for my forum family....
