The escape is on death row. They're going to replace it, most likely with the kuga. If anything the escape will only live on in name.

As for this mmpv, only small kids will probably fit in the back.

Yeah, true that. But at first glance I sure enough thought... FIESTA (van)? That's why I got the pics.

I am not a fan of this 'general shap' and yes, far too many auto companies are cookie cutting their autos into it. I thought the whole point of variety is to have 'different' choices? I s'pose different choices are still out there, I'm just disappointed in the overall lack of creativity.

imo!

Honestly though, when it comes to the minivan market, the best thing that they have to work with is the jelly bean/egg shape and then make their own best look out of it. It's the same way with pick ups, suvs, even just coupes and sedans.

Even the camaro, mustang, challenger and charger are based on the same shape, just each one has a unique look to it.

Right, but you arn't quoting me talking about the mini-van, I'm speaking in more general terms in that post. My only reference to the minivan anywhere, was that this model looks like the other model (fiesta). I moved on, to speak more of the new topic... the general shape (aero-egg) of these and many cars today (a.k.a. my rant). Maybe I should have been more specific with my emoticon barf.

I agree and disagree. While an untrained eye may mistake them, sadly ... their "unique looks" will set them apart considerably when put up side by side!
