Let's hurry up and come out with the Camaro!!!

I'm sure GM would have been getting a lot of our money in some fashion or another if the Camaro wasn't coming out. But, now that we know it's coming, we've been holding on to our money.

i mean....from the ordering thread alone...how many people here ordered?
$7,280,000 on 2SS's alone.
$1,056,000 on 1SS's
$918,000 on 2LT's
$138,000 on 1LT's

ESTIMATES ONLY

comes out to about...

$9,392,000 in sales from people on THIS SITE ALONE.

There's going to be a LOT more sales (of course) that will really kick in and help out GM. I know it's going to take a LONG while for that to happen. But, by doing this, it also kinda reminded me about the polls situation....and how GM really DOES need to listen to people on this and other sites. $10 million from this site alone????

Um...yeah....they are listening!!!

They may announce they are going to file for Chapter 11. It would clear their debt and let them start clean.

All of the big three really need to lean down on overhead and products lines. Go to Edmunds and you see pages and pages of different cars and trucks. To many products to make money.

Which is the big thing that made me mad when they killed Camaro before. I said screw that kill the firebird and the Camaro would sell enough. But nope they killed them both off.

Hopefully any bad news does not involve the Camaro

! Honestly I hope they discontinue some models that just don't sell much, which would probably include factory shut-downs and layoffs. Kinda depressing but it seems they are running out of choices.:(

I'm betting the Camaro is safe. But I have no idea if they are meeting, exceeding, or well below expectations at this point with the preorders.

If indications are the camaro will not return a profit, They'll whack it for sure. But my guess, as close to production as they are, it will get a chance to succeed. We should be good for at least a year or so.

But make no mistake if it doesn't sell.... We will relive the past.... So, we better get our butts out there and buy em up. I don't think Scott can handle seeing it die twice in his lifetime....

Seriously, my guess is the Camaro will be one of the vehicles that snatches GM back from the edge and is a huge success.

I hope the Camaro is safe...I would love to see it make it for several years but I'm not sure a car like this will...at least in the current state of our economy!

I have mine ordered...so if it's produced I know I'll be getting one!

Don't sweat it guys. GM and the Camaro will survive and my prediction is the Z28 will be launched in 2011 to take some wind out of the sails of the redesigned 2011 Mustang.

....not that I know anything... I do afterall drive a Mustang.
