Halo Reach Beta

Heading over to my friend's house to play Reach in an hour.

Bungie has always produced awesome games. If you like some of the older games, I would strongly encourage you to look into downloading the Marathon trilogy using the Aleph One emulator. This game is classic.

I will have to look into Reach. I have ODST, but I haven't been online much recently.

Not sure how the dust settled on that after Bungie and Microsoft parted ways. I think Microsoft retained the right to Master Chief. Is there going to be a campaign in Reach or is it going to be strictly multiplayer adversarial?

Technically ... The Chief is at Reach... but he's in orbit along with two other Spartan's

... If bungie really based the Game off of the the book "The Fall Of Reach" I don't wanna tell the story

No, it's not based off The Fall of Reach.

Anyways...I really really really really really like it. Took a while to transition over from Halo 3 controls, but it's not a bad game. A few glitches here and there.

Yes, there will be a Campaign, and if Bungie's usual stranglehold of secrecy is any kind of proof, it will more than likely be pretty epic. If you watch some of the vid docs they put out, they've already mentioned that there will be battles involving 40-50 AI controlled characters duking it out, plus you and up to 4 team mates via co op ( or just you and 3 other AI controlled Spartans if you like to go it alone).

So, who all has played the Invasion game types? I find them pretty engaging... so long as both sides have competent team mates. I'm going to be very sad when the beta ends, gonna be a looong wait till fall!
