camaro5, nuff said
I love this forum and its community. the site is clean and barely any advertisements. and the people
 and i can honestly say that this is by far my favorite forum on the internet.i just joined another forum for headphones and speakers. made a new thread saying hi like we get here all the time. been about half an hour with three responses one of which is a welcome and the other two i cant figure out. also they are 'holding my post for moderation' before it shows up on the thread  http://www.head-fi.org/forum/thread/...ew-member-here

(/cut n' paste) I left out all the details (well designed/maintained) because that is a lot to list. But "clean" is definately something I appreciate as well. I don't doubt C5 has been approached by advertiser after advertiser (Pretty damn popular board... anyone catch that C5Fest thingy?). A lot of "forums" or "boards" make you have to look between all the advertisements to find the comments, the posts, the 'meat'. It's there perogative, for sure... but when it slows down the performance of the site and starts to really distract, no, not for me.

I remember when I was new here. I was actually afraid to post.
 GTAHVIT sent me a massage on my profile vistors message board and made me feel welcome. I've never been on any other forums. I just 'Fell' into the best out there.  I'm still afraid to post here. But I face my fears head on everyday.
