Key is, because of GM's woes, it didn't make sense to come out swinging with a rip-snorting, tire-tearing type of Camaro commercial pointed toward the horsepower junkies.

The base Camaro fan group will buy them, similar to a political candidate normally suspects their fan base will vote for them and goes after independents. This, I believe, is GM's focus. A smart one at that. It seems to be working.

It may be working, but hell it would be nice to have a nice rip-snorting commercial anyway..... even if it is just a internet commercial.

Actually awesome commercial and cool car. GM needs to step up their game, however I think they are laying low on the whole perforamnce thing and letting it sell itself.

Cool commercial. But custom wheels and the obvious sound of a V8? Lame.

Ford usually hits a new powertrain hard with commercials for the first 6 months. The V-6's do actually sound like that, someone did some serious work in getting that right. Now Ford should send everyone that bought a 2010 Mustang, 6 or 8, a rebate check for 2 grand.

us 2010 GT ers already got out rebates in the form of a great deal...idk why people insist that we were shafted. i payed the same amt for my track pack GT as i would have for a performance package premium V6.

so for the same price i got 10 more HP and like 50 more ft-lb of torque. shafted? i think not...

I dunno about some of you,.....but I actually liked the commercial; and the looks of the car!

It looked good to me in that cyber gray metallic color. I didn't like the music though. The Camaro definitely needs a commercial like that! Something that makes it look bad-ass. That would definitely help Gms sales as opposed to what they're doing now. The commercial we have now isn't a Camaro stand alone commercial, and it seems pretty boring to look at, nothing that gets your heartbeating a little.

The new Ford Mustang commercial on the other hand, it caters to what people want, "entertainment". It's makes them think or dream a little and say "hey, look at that bad-ass car, it could be me driving that"! That's what Chevy needs to be putting together. +1 Ford Mustang. This time I just had to admit it.

So when does Chevrolet get the last place award for their advertising? It really sucks! Hope somebody from way up the ladder in GM is reading this. The company I retired from would have fired the guy or gal putting those silver generic commercials together...nothing sticks out. Somebody at GM needs to grow a set of gahones and realize there is still an America out there that does not want to drive a Fiat with a windmill on the roof. Save those for our representatives in Congress.
