But if they falsify their gains (as two of the GT500 guys allege) than not really. I am interested in seeing numbers from more shops before I decide on who I would/will use.

Good article expect two things that bug me. One, the HP output of the 5.0 is not under rated by Ford, it SAE certified. Comparing rear wheel dyno number to prove it is underated is like using a scale to compare a witch to a duck. They also note that the more expensive Camaro doesn't have anything over the Mustang, well once the Mustang has the same belss and whistles like the handling package, larger wheels, and Brembos the Mustnag is more expesnsive. Not to take anything from the Mustang, it is a bad car...I just feel I need to point those two things out. The only thing the Mustnag has over the Camaro is a better diet councilor than the Camaro had in Jenny Craig.

12.04 @ 117mph with a 1.70 60ft time on a tire with the mods they listed for 405rwhp.

I'd say the power is definitely their.

The GT500 guys have to remember, if they are claiming even they don't gain those numbers with the same mods, is that the GT500 comes with a much better exhaust setup than the GT. SVT really tuned that exhaust in stock form. So the GT500 guys don't see big gains when they change exhaust.

40 hp got them a 6mph improvement on the trap speed? That is hard to believe.

I don't believe they ran the car stock to it's best potential.

And if you are spinning enough on stock tires you might not achieve the best mph.

correct, every one is going by inside line
and frankly the numbers were ridicules 390hp..lol
MT and evo-performance number are believable.
i believe the reason why none tested the car in 5th gear
were because, the mustang speed limiter is set at 145, by 5th gear its going
145. Ford should of set the limit higher, specially wen you have a 7000rpm's
