Who knows though? Maybe there is something in the works that just needs some more time - especially how things are right now. That's what I'm hoping for. I really don't get what happened with the response, if there was even one really, to the Lightning. I mean, I don't think there was anyone fooled with the Silverado SS. I loved it, and the idea, but it was more simply a K1500 with an Escalade 6.0 and AWD. It still wasn't that much of a competitor to the Lightning, although it was a better truck, LOL. I guess there is definately an argument there because at least you weren't limited to a regular cab like the Lightning. I think I just prefer some direct competition, and not so much of this cross-over-like competition. This is a perfect example. You take the lightest truck you have, stuff the best powerplant in it, strengthen it, and run it; no take a four-wheel-drive truck, throw in Escalade powertrain bits, and run it. But I digress... A little off topic there... Sorry.Quote:
What is the deal with this truck anyways? I thought it had some sort of bad@$$ powerplant or something; what, it can just drive through sand a 60? I don't get it. Someone please educate me ![]()

the point is its a very very good off road truck that can go very fast off road and not kill you with how harsh the bumbs are.
the Trailblazer SS can't do that and from what i've heard the Silverado z71 doesnt have the same abilities either
