Real world Challenger R/T performance numbers

Alright..just got home from my local Friday Night Street Legal series. This track is located in White City, Oregon.

Track Elevation: 1,410 feet ASL
Density Altitude for run: 1,396 feel ASL

Tune: Stock
Tires: Stock 18"
Exhaust: Stock
Exhaust Manifold: Stock
Throttle Body: Stock
Intake: K&N Series 63 CAI
Weight Reduction: None
Race Weight: 4,250lb w/ driver

Now..I know, some of you dont accept corrected times, but the corrected time would be:

13.065 @ 106.511 MPH

Just showing that the R/T's are actually performing far better than the magazine times would indicate.

Damn good time man.

And if you are at altitude, or the DA is bad, I sure as hell except corrected times. Only idiots believe a car runs the same at sea level as it does at altitude.

Thanks guys, the rest of the runs that night run from low 13.2's to 13.4's. They didnt re-prep the track at all, and that slip was the third run down the track tonight. Everyone was having trouble getting traction.

I agree with the whole timeslip corrections stuff... but then again, it is easier to get traction when the DA sucks too.

Very nice times. My biggest issue with the Challenger is the price. I still see used r/t's going for around 30k. That just seems crazy to me. If they were cheaper, I'd love to own an all black one.

They are much more exclusive = hold their value.

The Challenger is too expensive, thats for sure. I wasnt interested with starting a war with this post, and I'm glad I havent. I just wanted to dispel the myth that the stock R/T is a high 13 second/14 second car.

Thanks for the compliments guys!
