I guess your right ...

Even though I getting a Camaro within these few months I have a lot of passion for the Challenger as much as the C5 members here have for the 5th gen

Not sure how my post disappeared but it's a wild child. I'd love to see Dodge make it but I don't see it happening if they're supposed to be making a 6.4 SRT8 Challenger. And they really should hand the 6.1 down to the R/T to make things interesting.

the 6.1 is a gas guzzler and from a lot of sources, somewhat of a gross polluter. the 5.7 is the way to go.

The 5.7L is also a more advanced and stronger motor. One of the reasons why the 6.4L going into the SRT is a 5.7L based motor and not the 6.1.

I don't think the hood and spoiler add up to 100 lbs as is, and carbon fiber ain't helium Sorry, but that just made me laugh. Chally is heavy though, and who knows, Dodge is crazy sometimes. They just might do it.

I can't believe idiots, not you the website you linked, still post stupid crap like this:

Quote:
The Dodge Tomahawk can reach 60 miles an hour in about 2.5 seconds, and has a theoretical top speed of nearly 400 mph. Each pair of wheels is separated by a few inches and each wheel has an independent suspension. Bernhard said four wheels were necessary to handle the power from the engine.
That thing wouldn't get anywhere near 300mph, much less 400mph.

Well theoretically the 5th Generation M6 Camaro SS can hit 276 mph..with its gearing. The top speed in each gear, not engine or traction capability.

So..it can probably hit nearly 400 MPH based on gearing alone, but not in reality.

Oh yes I realize that they are saying at max rpm in max gear it would be going 400mph.
