So it isn't because you have a supercharger?

The LS3 is much more capable than the engine in your car. It would take much less effort to turn the Camaro into a porcupine killer than you'd think.

Is that so. Check this out. I was unable to find a LS3 Corvette in that database that could even come close to that.(I not saying that it's not possible.)

Spend less time hating on American muscle and more time chowing down on rice.
I don't get how some of you guys have such a hate on for Mustangs. Supercharger or not my car puts out over 500hp at the crank from a tiny 281 cubic inch V8. It idles smooth as stock and gets 20+mpg driving in town and shows it's tail lights to $100,000+ Euro trash and it's an American car.
I'm not out to trash on Camaro's(or even SRT Challengers). I think they are a very sweet car(s) and look forward to having some competition.
I'm on this forum to gain some knowledge about the new Camaro and hopefully give some of you guys some insight that Mustangs are also a pretty sweet car, so that we can keep on with the "Muscle Car Wars" in a friendly and productive way. Peace guys, until we meet at the track...then it's war...and you're going down!!

As for The Challenger SRT-8's a friend of mine with a 2006 Mustang GT convertible with less than a $1000 worth of bolt on's has little trouble with them. At the local track stock 2008 GT's vs stock SRT-8 Challengers are pretty close at the end of the 1/4 mile, with the GT's easily ahead at the 1/8 th mile and the SRT's closing the gap at the end of the 1/4 and having a higher mph. In short street matches up to 60-70 mph the Mustang wins hands down as long as the GT driver can pull the gears decent.
Plus any clown that wants to play against my supercharged GT and then cry about getting beat because I have a supercharger shouldn't try to play in the first place.

Its funny. for someone not here to trash on Camaro's or Challengers, you sure do a great impression.

nothing but respect here for the Mustang. It's something that WE have come to love...a love for the cars themselves. And, we've come to be on the same team....the American team. WE love our domestics...whether it be Ford, Dodge, OR Chevy. I'm happy you like your Mustang. I'll love my Camaro.

......and there won't be anything "Euro" about this....but I WILL be happy to show you at the track that 'afterburner' effect...

The 'powerdome' was a buldge on the hood that everyone was making a big deal out of. Mocking really. similar to the 'fake scoop' on todays models
