I'm sure they have brought up the upcoming V-Spec, which is the rightful competitor to the ZR1. The GTR is supposed to duke it out with the Z06.

You're right - lest we forget the V. We'll see if all those computers help it out. Too bad any driver how actually tries to race his V will void his warranty. I guess that just shows how well ZR1 is engineered

This is why i love Chevrolet. I don't want computers to drive my car, i want to.
ZR1 ftw! I love how they just roast the tires around the GTR at the end. GREAT!

Not to mention, the Corvette still has its warranty after the run to 60. Although a loss of 133 hp? something smells fishy...

Haha thats great! Not only do you have to have an extra $20 grand for dealer markup, you need another $20 grand to fix the tranny because "warranty doesn't cover that, if you disengage this system." LOL!

Loved the power stall around the GTR at the end. It was surprising for me to hear them say the HP #'s went from 638 to 508 in the ZR1.

And I think it was a conservative dyno or they didn't adjust for conditions or something. Most dynos place the GTR at 430 or so at the wheel.

So let's bring it back to the Camaro for a second. If it is rated at 422HP, what's the actual dyno going to look like? 385hp at the wheels? Less? If this is handled in another thread, just let me know.
