I'm posting during class right now. KU makes me take this 100-level junk for graduation. I was not aware of that until last semester, so I was busy taking a lot of 600-level political science classes. :( Now, I'm still at school instead of making money.

i graduated in may & i still ain't making money. i had a summer gig, but it was more of an 'experience builder' (paid diddly squat!) so don't feel bad.

It's good to know you're in the same boat. I actually will need a job, though. I'm near bankrupt, so I need to start making enough money for bills within 2 months of college, or there will be problems. Hopefully, I get a well-paying sales job with one of the companies I've applied. I've also talked to someone in restaurants who can help me a little. 80% of jobs are found through networking with the people you already know, so I have a 20% chance of the sales jobs to which I've applied working. Regardless of what I find, the goal will be to build both experience and expertise in certain products. That way, I can boast both talent and knowledge to headhunters in the future.

And I will be feeling bad until I have a Camaro SS to drive. With no money in the bank, that is a pretty foreign reality. :(

i've already had to dip into savings too, and the two best-looking jobs i've found won't be filling til the end of the year, so be praying 'cause audio jobs are pretty rough to find steady work in. it's more of a 90/10 split on who you know. anyway, if i could do it over, i would've been trying to line up a full-time job WELL in advance of graduation. just my .02 if you want it.

Yea that's why I'm glad part of my college is internship where I get to work as a service tech at an actual dealership for half of the semester.
