I LOVE GM vehicles, and particularly Chevy's, but would buy any GM vehicle if I had the $$...Hopefully, one day, soon enough, a 5th Gen CAMARO! Dave_O

A possible future 1SS. I was comparing insurance costs to a possible future V6. The difference wasn't too bad.

I don't think it was a prototype - but, they clearanced it for a V8 and apparently didn't take into account the hump where the cam-chains go on the V6 (BB, I looked it up and thats whats back there) and it doesn't clear.

I dunno how they're going to fix it. They might have to swap hers for one of the ones designed to clear the maggies.

As for drinking a beer and cursing at it, don't know about the beer but she did call me and leave a voicemail calling me a homo.

add in more expensive gas and more of it with those calculations. also, oil changes will be quite a bit more pricey too. but if you can afford all that, definitely will be worth it meanwhile, my dumb butt will sit in my scion

I already did. Overall payment + insurance + gas will be 1000-1050 for the 1SS, and 650-700 for the 1LS. But I'd have quite a large list of mods to get for the V6, whereas most of the mods for the V8 would be of the "it would be nice" variety.

Exactly. All of the early mods for my future SS will be exhaust and suspension related. Til I start breaking stuff
