Sorry Kyle, that's why these latest cross-overs were created....so Chevy/GMC/Buick could drop the Trailblazer, Envoy, and Rainier. As many of them as I see on the road, GM said the Trailblazer/Envoy/Rainier triplets weren't selling enough, so they had to do something. A complete redesign was slated for the 2011, but then the cross-overs hit the autoshow circuit. They were such a hit that GM decided to start building them and phase out the current triplets.
Chevy needs to go ahead and make their version of the cross-over, but it should be the sportier one....more power, sportier suspension (I'm not saying Corvette like or anything, more like Trailblazer SS)....it at least needs to be an upgrade option on the Chevy version. |

Silverado,
thats interesting, good info. I thought the Arcadia was a little too small to take over the Envoy and yes, they are all over. Not sure how they are not selling. haha. thanks |

So Long Trailblazer...it's been a good run, buddy. (trumpet plays)
Though, people still need SUV's, there will surely be some of them still around. "those" guys still need their Suburbans, if you know what I need.

I like the GMC Acadia the best, sans the ricer tail lamps. If they do kill the Trailblazer, they would need something there, they still need to trim some fat with these brands IMO

I love that back seat area. Too nice for the rugrats though, I'd make them drive so I could lounge back there.
Hehe. |

nope, the official name for the Chevrolet version of the "Lambda Platform" is Traverse instead of Nomad. I personally liked the name Nomad better

Buick Expands Global Reach with Enclave Export
Official news from GM:
Buick will expand its international reach following a four-year agreement signed today by GM and Shanghai GM to export up to 25,000 of the brand’s hot-selling Enclave luxury crossover to China beginning in the second half of 2008. Enclave is the first Buick built in North America to be exported to China since the early part of the last century. The Enclave will be imported by Shanghai GM and sold through a network of more than 400 Buick dealerships across China. The Enclave will be Buick’s first luxury crossover in China. Buick is a storied brand in North America and one of the most well-known automobile brands in China with more than 1.3 million Buick owners. Last year, Buick sold more than 300,000 units there and more than 567,000 worldwide, a 17,000 unit increase over 2006. Buick has a strong history in China where Dr. Sun Yat-sen, the father of the Republic of China, and Pu Yi, the last emperor of China, both owned Buicks which brought great influence to the brand. |

I got to see an enclave today. they are very pretty... and very luxurious.. i really wonder how their offroading capabilities are, being a realtor in the country it doesn't have to be jeep like but still get over some rough ground. So many of these things are 4 or all wheel drive for no reason
