Ours is 4 and fluctuates between 65-70 pounds. He is solid. We watch his weight and only give him dog food, dog treats and he loves fruits and veggies. He's not very active and if we try to walk him further than he wants to go he just lays down He knows I can't lift him. When we lived in toronto we had to walk about a block to get to grass and cross 2 streets...this took about 4 treats to do successfully round trip! We want to get another male, but have heard that couldbe an issue so we may go with a female. We like our breeder in MI, so we're waiting for another littler and I'll fly up and get one. They had a litter just as we were moving down here so it may be awhile and I am really itchig to get another so I have been networking down here with some breeders just in case.

55 pounds in pretty large for a female, but she looks solid...pretty pup!

If you have a little dog and a small balcony, you should be fine. Boston Terrier is the closest thing to a french bulldog that's considered a "small dog" if you are open to consider other choices. I've have large and small dogs all my life, and once Gina and I are wed, we're going to look into getting a shih-tzu for our 1/1 apartment. We have a small balcony that we can set a piece of sod down for training purposes until she's old enough to hold it so we can get outside, down the stairs and to the small grass fields we have around the complex.

I work nights and Gina works days so there's always someone home. That's the biggest thing about getting a dog. If you can't have someone with the dog for 95% of the day when they're puppies, it's best not to have one.

Dogs I've had in the past.
2 Germand shepherds
Shih-tzu
Black Lab
Bichon Frise
Golden Lab
Mini Schnauzer
Black Lab

Thanks! Yeah she is solid but she thinks she only weighs 5lbs. She's happiest when she is laying on top of me or my fiance'. This is the place that I'm looking at for my 2nd bully. He has some adorable pups. Take a look at "Grandpa" in the adult dogs tab. He's large to say the least.
