Minutes to Midnight isn't a bad album, I still prefer Hybrid Theory though.

It's not a bad album, it's just in a direction I didn't want them to take. It seems like every band that starts out on being hardcore eventually tries to go mainstream.

True, but I can't really blame them (or Korn or Disturbed anyone else). Afterall, how can you be p*ssed off at the world when you've got more money and success than you ever dreamed possible?

Yeah, but some of those bands ain't pissed lol. Killswitch, for example, has always been about positivity. Now they've released stuff like "Starting Over." It isn't a terrible song, just it doesn't need to be KsE singing it. Disturbed I've honestly never liked that much. They're slightly above average. Early LP is what got me striving for harder music, but I usually draw the line at metalcore.
