I'm the one with the car and I'm the wife! My hubby has his motorcycle so we both spend a fair amount of time playing with our toys.

all i know is yes we have problems and spend to much time with our cars. but i think its bad to wipe your car down every day. a nice layer of wax and maybe twice a week use the california car duster and then once in between use detail spray.

thats my opinion. but we all have our ways.

Well,,, after I finished painting and prepping the radiator cover for my Camaro, I hopped on the
Harley for a trip to the car wash.... then went to a baseball game where one of the staff members was ragg'in on me for having soo many toys... I told him I was twice his age, and it only takes time and smart decisions...

Wife is the one that wanted me to order the CAI and radiator cover... and she gave me blessings for a supercharger so ( I asked what she thought, we discussed it and) this time next year...

I as well have a Mistriss, My Camaro "Rubye". I spend quite a bit of time wiping her off as well as taking her for a drive. I have over 23,500 miles on her since September 18, 2009.

I call it preventative maintenance lol...if I don't wipe her down ever night the bugs will mess my paint up. I'd rather spend 10 minutes wiping the front then hundreds of dollars repainting it. Just tell the wife you are trying to save money by taking care of mary_jane (lol) so you can take her on a nice vacation. She won't mind it then!

I would tell her not to worry and that I saved a little for her and she'll be getting a little rub down later too.

I like the smell of Carnuba best.
