Could be worse, could be like a Civic and pass once the race is done and claim a victory haha.

The 6.1 suffers in gas mileage and lacks power for it's price (when it was introduced in 2008 for 38995 it was a screaming deal), Hopefully the 5.7 will see some extra juice for the 11 modelyear. I have speculation of around 400HP, but really nothing even remotely solid yet.
I agree with this. I think the R/T is fairly priced. I was not aware it MAY get some extra hp for the 11 model year, if it does, an R/T CLassic may well be in my garage next to the SS.

this info is still kinda weak when you think about it though. 475-525hp is a HUGE horsepower gap.

it will more likely be 475 with the mds and auto for the first batch....then they will probably wait for the z28 to come out to then announce the manual with 500+ hp and no mds. that is if they are smart.....which hasnt been proven yet.

i dont think having a different engine for an auto and a different one for a manual is a very smart idea.

chevy did the same thing. and all it is is not having MDS and one having it. not changing the size of the engine per say.

Like the L99 vs the LS3 issue...maybe the M6 will have a few more HPs?
