You know, I used to go to Florida all the time when I was younger.
My parents had a condo in Boca, off of Glades Rd. Just near the turn pike.
It was sold when my daughter was 4 yrs old. No one was going anymore.
She is now 16 yrs old and my son will be 14 this friday.
Time flies!
Although, I still have an aunt that lives there, but she constantly moves around.

So you haven't been down here for a while. Not much has changed except it seems like more snowbirds come down and never leave! No offense to you northern people!

Mmm...wish it were us!

I was there about 4 years ago in April for my uncle's funeral. But,
I really wouldn't count that as a social visit.
The older we get the more we hate snow, winter, boots, shoveling, you get the idea!

Yea, no fun! And I can't just stay up until we have to leave, because when we get there, I am the one driving!

Hey! The web cam sounds like a great idea!
We can't go, we already had our 2 week vacation in Feb/March in the
Dominican Republic! That was the kid's spring break!
Plus, the hubby still wants to keep our 2 weeks for the summer as well.
On the other hand, we are going again to the Oshawa trip in August.
Again 3 days! Many from the US are coming too!(hint, hint)

Yep, I wouldn't be able to handle all that comes with the snow. I do enough shoveling since I have horses lol

Prob 3 days, I bought a horse from Lundar, Manitoba and had her shipped down here and I think it took her 3 or 4 days to get here. But I think they stopped more frequently to give her water and a break from trying to keep their balance.
