I can't figure out the new trend in web design for giving tons and tons of blank space on the sides of a page. Half the page is wasted. I know it has something to do with screen res, but it should be better than that.

I understand they got to make money, but the advertisements are just getting intrusive. This particular website physically shows you a full page advertisement every other time you view a full size picture. WTF. I'm going to have to update my firefox just so I can manage my way around this site

Then there is the websites that write you a very very very very very very looooooooong car review, but then they space it over 20 pages so you continually have to click next to see the whole article. You're exposed to a crapload of adds by the end of it. Pisses me off!
