Depends on what day you ask me.

I've researched the Edlebrock E Force, Kenne Bell, Vortech, Maggie TVS2300, STS turbo and Fastlane's turbo. I want to make sure what I get is definitely what I want for the amount of money any of these kits cost. Right now I'm leaning towards the Maggie or Edlebrock. I'm also going to upgrade my fuel injectors and do a cam upgrade among a couple other things. I'm getting the money together so I can have it all done at once which will probably be this September.

Oh and I'm replacing the heads, lifters, liftertrays and removing the al cam phaser. Andy from ADM recommended this be done as well.

yeah it's gonna be my DD. When I talked to a couple of shops I let them know what my goals were (500-550rwhp) but still wanted it to be a DD. Andy said that it will be fine as a DD and mpg won't suffer as long as I don't get on it all the time. Lol! I've already purchased new rotors and brakes and I'm going to order toe rods, trailing arms and bushings to help reduce the wheel hop that is sure to come with that much power. I don't want any more power than that because then I'd have to start doing work on the rear.

that'll be cool. You'll love it once you get it. I'm curious to see what GM plans to do with the 6th Gen.

Don't short change them. Ya never know what's up their sleeve. I would highly doubt the excitement and awe factor will be as high for the 6th Gen but that's to be expected since the 5th Gen was a "rebirth" of the Camaro. My only worried is the CAFE standards that will be in place by then. There is talk that there MAY not be a V8. I'm sure you've read all that talk yourself so I won't even get into it. I just hope they don't do a major overhaul with the design. Some tweeks and changes would be fine but I love this design and would hate to see it altered too much. I would like to see functional brake vents rather than our non-functional gills.

there better be a V8 who knows what technologies will come out by then to lower emissions and still keep all the glorious horsepower. the look WILL be changed drastically, look at the lifeline of camaros, one generation looks almost nothing like the one before or after. wait and see i guess

I'm fairly sure that Alpha can support a V8.

The current CTS is on Sigma-II. It'll be transitioning over to LWB Alpha sometime in the next few years. And I doubt the CTS-V is going anywhere, and that will have to have a V8.

As of now, Alpha is still in development. Nothing rides on the platform yet, but the Cadillac ATS/CTS and 6th gen. Camaro are planned for it.
