I have a dealer here in town... went and looked at them before buying a honda.

They have to do all your work, or you loose your warranty... and their rates are ridiculous.

Plus a buddy of mine has w/e the middle range model is, and hes got a couple of horror stories.

Anyways, I'm glad you had a better experience

Both very easy to handle bikes with lots of torque in the lower part of the RPM range. Much more fun than a 4 cyl bike IMHO.

My first bike was an 03 Ducati Monster 620.

Yeah, those do look nice. My dad has one that has a pretty cool custom paint job on it. Also just saw that the local shop as a suzuki boulevard S50 for sale. a 2007 with only 350 miles on it, looks great! my current contract with my job is about up, so I'll be renegotiating to do the same exact job but being paid through a different agency (if that makes any sense to you guys heheh). if i can swing some better money from them I'll probably get the S50 within a month or so. if not, guess I'll just wait longer to make sure I can afford everything

Yep, exactly why I suggested the SV650 and Ducati Monster.

You can find used examples for cheap.
