How much do you think an SI costs? Fully loaded with navi i believe it's somewhere around 24k. As for why, it's opinion, maybe he wants FWD? Maybe he likes the sensation of a high revving motor and a more buttoned down chasis in a much lighter car? Maybe he likes the interior or styling better? Different strokes for different folks ya know and the Camaro is definalty not going to stroke everyone in a good way.

YES, there is an SI sedan, came out in 07 I believe, also the times are not far off at all.

when i priced it in canada fully loaded it was around 30 grand
