MR1s are pretty decent. I use a SmartParts SP-1. Basically a modified Ion (more scenario game oriented), sells for about $180. But I have a nice M-4 kit on it now, looks pretty sweet

I've done it with canned corn and even then, my roommates looked at me funny. I would never think to eat canned pasta without heating it up

It sounds like most of you need a home cooked meal!
Why can't you just have the old fashion pasta boil in a pot?
It only takes about 7-8 mins. Then you can add your favorite sauce!
Tastes much better than that canned garbage!
