how true that is...now you camaro guys know how us challenger guys felt after the SS came out!

the mags just favor whats new and/or pays the most to advertise. jalopnik heavily favors the ford side of things too. not to discount the new mustang whatsoever...that thing is gonna be a beast!

anyone know the torque numbers on the new V6? looks like i'm gonna have start watching out for those too! too lazy to read the article.

They need to compare to the 2010 - because Ford is allows trying to keep up with Chevy and is a year behind on those bragging rights. I have said this in every 2011 Mustang vs 2010 Camaro thread I have seen, and I will reiterate that the only comparison worth doing is stock for stock. You can argue mods all day and which engine will respond better to what, but mods come down to how much you are willing to pay. Stock for stock, based off of what the magazines I have put out so far, it will be a driver's race. For people who like to compare magazine numbers, the 2011 Mustang has the 2010 Camaro beat. Period. For the real world and 98% of the people who own these cars, it will come down to the person sitting in the right seat. I like my Camaro and maybe some day I will get a Vette, which, when mentioned, generally shuts everyone up.

Officially, only hints and teases from GM. There was an article over at GM where Fritz hinted at the '11 Camaro being improved performance wise, but nothing directly said. The information is supposed to be released in the next couple weeks.

Why? Because all Mustang drivers leave their car stock?

Honestly...it's a tad quicker stock for stock. How many folks, who actually race their cars on the track, go to the track stock? At least a CAI or exhaust is on there...at a minimum!

I understand the stock for stock bragging rights...but if you want to go faster then make it faster!

Everyday there will be something faster and newer! At this point to me at least...it's a preference of what someone likes best...
