every track is different, looks like you go to a nice fast track. I've been to the track when LS1's Camaro's/Firebirds were having a very hard time breaking over 100 mph in the 1/4, a GT500 was in the 106's and I was only in the 111-113's. The only way to ever compare times/mph's is to look at what other cars are doing on the same day.

As much as i hate the mustang being better, that only means that the camaro is going to be that much better the next year. The mary-go-round as started.

Just wanted to add my .2 cents, I have an SS and i love the car, but my focus is getting the Z28 and haveing to deal with the GT500.

If you already have a SS..why dont you simply modify it to make a GT500 killer instead of buying ANOTHER Camaro?
