My 88 Monte Carlo SS...
Hey everybody!! I'm a newbie here and since I'm still saving for my down payment for a Camaro SS I thought I would post up some pics of my 1988 Monte Carlo SS, 305 H.O. V8, auto, fully loaded, lowerd 1" with a Belco suspension and Flow Master exhaust. Never been wrecked and original paint. Sorry pics are not good, need to take new ones.

Nice, I had an 86 LS with the 5.0 and t tops when I was in high school. Loved that car and had much fun in it.

![]() Always loved those cars. A friend of mine when we were growing up had one of the ones with the bubble back window.

Nice car. Pictures aren't that bad, could be better if the car was angled so the light hit it better, but thats a minor detail unless you are really trying to get perfect shots.
On a side note, 80's styling is somehow starting to grow on me ... though the overhangs on cars from back then seem outlandish by todays standards.

I'm not a fan of this bodystyle, but none the less it's still an awesome car. Very clean, I like it

Nice, I like these cars. My dad finished restoring a 1986 Monte Carlo SS a couple years ago. He won best Monte at the 2007 Super Chevy Show in Pomona, CA with it. I was never really a fan of them before he got it but now I think they are one of the best looking cars of the 80's.......not really saying much when I think about it, haha. Yep, they are slow in stock form but there is alot of potential with them.
