I don't think it's the rear seal that caused the problem, I think a clutch bushing problem may have caused damage to the engine rear seal or possible the main bearings. I want them to check i and the service manager said they would.... His dad, the lead mechanic for the whole shop is my childhood racing hero.... Bad ass driver is super late models in Texas on short tracks.... been family friends for 40 years or so... Son is the service manager ... great people, my brother re-affirmed that if they work on it, it will be right...

Straight and long is the goal, for me, long is not a problem, straight is often a challenge....

Good Luck to you and your mom, I hope whatever is going on is resolved in a good way soon.... Your obviously a good son for standing by and handling business,

When I was practicing as a paramedic, I saw sooo many sad cases where the elderly family members were basically abandoned by their families, literally years in a nursing home or assisted living center with no visits or communications from any relatives, I saw many of these people way more often than their family did....

My Prayers are with you Brother...

thats very nice Bob, I appreciate the thoughts ! a little tip...on your back swing as you turn away from the ball...keep your swing path as close to your body as possible...it causes your swing memory to swing back to the ball on an inside path....try it,hit sum balls before you tee off...I bet you will start hitting a draw instead of a shank !....

Yup, got that one down, but I swing like a madman, even at my age with my Cleveland Launcher, I can still hit it wellover three hundred yards, but... I slide so far forward that sometimes I hit a dead pull, blistering shots that go about 30 degrees offline to the left of my aim spot.... my instructor said it's from rotating my hips to soon and too explosively.... oh well, I don't do it that often, and I love seeing guys half my age loose money on driving distance challenges...I won 80 dollars on one hole one day playing with three younger guys that didn't know me.... I was taking it easy into a ten mile an hour, gusting to twenty mph, until we made a turn with the wind at our backs.... Par 4, 470 (if you follow the middle of the fairway) yard hole with a 80 degree dogleg right....they all hit the middle of the fairway.... I set up to go over the lake... it's 340 or so to the far edge of the water... They asked what I thought I was doing, I said I was going for the pin.... cash hit the ground and I hit the ball... no I crushed the ball, arrow straight, bout a 50 degree launch angle, cleared the water, bounced up onto the green about fifteen feet from the cup, picked up the cash, grinned and then frigg'in three putted... for a farg'in par....

HeHeHeHe.......aw sum !

Yeah, I pump it well over three too ! the swing thought you need is "body turn"...the gof swing is really a body turn and is not controlled by the arms....down swing initiated by the hips followed by a body turn.
