Yea, they are alright. There is a Chicago 5th Gen meet this weekend, 27 Camaros gonna be there provided the weather holds up, so I am excited how about for you?

Well, went to SA last Friday night, had a great time visiting with the SA gang, got a frigg'in ticket on the way home, my first in the Camaro, oh well,... stilll a great evening, and took my car to a different dealer service department today... Service manager is a family friend, he said Helen Keller could hear the noise it's making, and he thinks he knows what it is... he's doing research on it, ordering needed parts, and I have an appointment next Monday after our Sunday Run, to take it in to get fixed...He said it should be fine until I bring it in, he seems to think it's a bushing or something in the clutch thats gone bad, or was defective at manufacture, and he also said he will replace anything near it that may be a victim of it, ie.... Trans, pressure plate, input shaft, etc....I'm so Happy....

The service manager was actually a little turd kid whos dad was my racing hero when I was a teenager... His dad retired from the track, and jr took over. I ended up working with his team along with my brother.... I hadn't seen him in years but my brother pointed out that the little turd kid was the service manager and a great guy, which is all true... I no longer thought him a turd about a year after I met him... He was like eight years old, and was always talking smack at the track, which I guess he could since his dad was about the baddest show around... then I have a front end problem on my 71 Hemi Cuda, and ask the dad for help with it at his shop.... uhmmm, lots of crow to eat that day... the eight y/o turd got the keys from his dad, pulled my car in the shop, onto the alignment lift, and proceeded to align the front end to perfection, be his freaking self...which was an accomplishment for a 71 Mopar... okkkkkkkkkkk no longer a turd, and I took all the smack he had to deal, and he was every bit as good a driver as his dad ever was... maybe better.... Now he races R/C cars and tears them up also...

WOW, sounds like an EXTREMELY interesting guy! Sounds like he was/is VERY GOOD at what he does! That's a very neat little story there!

It's a Kindle electronic reader.... I usually take 6 or 8 paperback books with me to work, and now I can simply download the books and take it with me.... no more stacks of books...

No, skip shift is smooth(er), and 1st to 2nd isnt bad. 3rd is the biggest struggle, and none of the gears are a smooth shift. I thought it would improve with some road time, but I'm over 600mi now and not much better. The best way I can describe it is I feel a definite "click" going into the gears (like there's resistance?). I sometimes think I hear/feel a "clunk" in the lower gears but not sure if that's my imagination or not. The shift isn't smooth and easy... takes a little muscle. I know if I'm hearing a "clunk" that's BAD... just don't know if the "click" like thing, and stiffness of the gears is normal for the stock shift.

The most you might need to do is go to the Kindle menu and check for downloads. If the Kindle and wispernet is on, it should update automatically.

Yeah, it isn't cheap. But the books are cheaper. A book that sells for $15 is usually $10 for Kindle version, and some books are free. I don't have to deal with shelves and stacks of books taking up space. Plus, if I go somewhere (like SSE does), I can take all the books I want.
