one thing i dont get, why is it in april? why not mid summer i think there would be a better turn up then

There will be over 600 at the fest ... as for why its in April vs July or August, I don't really know. Might have to do with fact temperature and humidity aren't very good for drag racing down there in the middle of the summer.
