Yep... I want to build a car for autocross. I'm thinking a V6 with full exhaust and a tune, plus some nice suspension work, those brakes, and 275/40/20 nitto invos all around...

I'd bet that has more to do with the tires than weight or brakes. Though the brakes won't fade as fast on the CTS-V, and those brakes installed on a Camaro would last even longer (due to weight).
