I wouldn't be too concerned. Despite the fact that HP ratings seem to keep climbing, for the most part, nothing is any faster than it was in '97 when the LS1 came out.

yup which means very conservative thats 450ish at the flywheel with about a 12% loss.

It's probably not the exact production version. I expect the same thing to happen as did with the 2010 GT500. Big numbers posted up by Edmunds and then real world numbers were more in-line with reality (from all the dyno's of the '10 GT500 I've seen).

However, maybe not!
