my version at the house is 11........but I have version 9 on my laptop, I will get back to you quick as I can. Its starting up now......and I make mp3s there all the time. you just need to find the options list where you can change the type of file you are making. BRB

CRAP.......the battery is dead......but I believe Iontone2 is right.....you would need a plug in.......why don't you just download and install the newer version? ITS FREE!!

Though thanks for all the help, trying to get about 30 CDs ripped down onto 1 DVD and perfer if I do all that work to make em into MP3s over WMAs as everything I have isn't new but MP3s work in everything I got.

I did dig into my files from the 80s and discovered we used WinDAC to get it done, think it made a wav file that you then converted.

And then used WinAMP for a player.

Works nice, files are a bit smaller, takes a good 3 times longer then a WMA but gonna be more versatile.

C5 is good for more then cars.

I used to use EAC (Exact Audio Copy) on my old pcs. I use iTunes now on my Mac.

Here use this to convert your cd's to mp3

If you are using a master cd it will even find the names of each track for you also.
