Just on the local news here in West Palm. Man has his fourth encounter with a prius problem.
1. unintended accel
2. brake failure
3. brake failure.
4. unintended acceleration in reverse.

What does he say to the reporter?
I love my prius and so does my family. I don't care how many problems it has or how bad, I will continue to buy them.

Even if he and his family dies?

It's a shame such stupid people won't buy from GM and Ford more often..... Then again...maybe I should be proud Chevy doesn't attract that sort of stupid.

Well if he and his family dies, then I don't think he'll be buying another prius. But then again, no one knows how far Toyota's reputation for quality has reached.

Maybe all of this is just Toyota's cure for those who said there is no excitment in driving a Toyota.

Don't be too proud, there are plenty of people who blindly buy Chevy's

Sure are...but is seems toyota attracts that sort of person. Where today you have to go out of your way to realize Ford and GM make a quality product (ie. think). It's just...assumed with toyota.

I've found this is especially true of people in the Prii. I'd hate to be associated with that stereotypical buyer....

How the F are toyota sales up this month from last year?

Do we have possibly the dumbest citizens in the world? Seriously, toyotas stock hasnt even taken a hit yet. If this was Chevy it would be the final curtain.

On a side note, I wonder how long until lawsuit happy people start smashing their toyotas into cars/buildings/people and then say they couldnt stop. If it didnt happen already.

maybe so, but we can stop when we need to... And it accelerates ONLY when we want it to.

On the news yesterday it said they were up from March of last year. 50% if you can believe people are that stupid. Money is more important than safety.

? March isn't over, yet. (It's not even half done...). They can't release sales data yet, because it's incomplete and inconclusive.

Either the news you watched is misrepresenting data or they've got their numbers mixed up...
