It needed to be done, but just not there. If the car had
never flipped this would be a very different conversation.
He just should never have done it when he did. I think Nascar
feels the same based on their very minor penalty.

OK, Whatever

You can clearly see him crank the wheel to the right, on a straight away, beside the car who put him out of contention. Watch the clip below. Also, listen to Edwards side of the story:

....you're serious, aren't you? Not only can you see Carls white gloves go hard right (dw said "if youre going to do that stuff, don't wear white gloves"), Carl himself said multiple times that he intentionally did it.

This is the exact same thing as the ALMS finale at Laguna Seca last year. Joerg Bergmeister with the Flying Lizards and Jan Magnusson. They didn't penalize either Joerg or Jan but they're on probation for 3 races.

It was hugely controversial also, just like this crash.

Wait, that was already done one a few years back for a less serious incident.

Again, your video shows they were fighting for THE WIN...Carl Edwards was 156 laps down when he wrecked and almost killed Brad...IMHO, that is the difference...

And supposedly, when Brad wrecked Carl at Talladega, Brad was trying to hold his line and not go below the yellow line, and they were both going for THE WIN...

I am not sticking up for Brad AT ALL, I just think he is young and inexperienced and if he did wreck others (not good), he was trying to win, not retalliate, IMHO...

'Carry on, folks and now back to your regularly scheduled C5 viewing'...lol...

Keeping these egos unchecked means eventually someone is going to get hurt. Let them do it again. They both die. End of story.

He should have to sit for a few races. WTF. Car would've landed a bit different, who knows what wouldve happened.

Crashing during racing for the win is one thing, but a blatant "take out" is complete BS.
