Any ferrari guys?
Are there any Ferrari guys on here. I'm thinking about getting a used one, maybe the 550. I like it a lot.
Anybody have experience with them? |

Can you afford A 550?
I like Ferrari's, especially the F430, F430 Scuderia, and the F450. |

All I know about Ferrari's is that there's one at my Lexus dealer and it's been there for a while.

It depends on the price. Most likely not, because I haven't seen one listed in a while. That doesn't mean that I can't learn anything useful so that in a few years when I will get one I will know more than just what I read from articles and other places.

I'd love to buy a 355, but I can't afford maintenance for it. I would check out some ferrari forums for better info on the cars though.

+1, maintenance is really expencive. I`m in love with 3cars 512 Testarossa, 360 challenge stradale and Lambo countach.

They are very expensive to keep up. My dad and I own a 308 that I will have when he can't drive anymore. But I know he spends alot of time working on it.
Funny how he has a 308 and 944 Turbo but they are both in my name. At least he pays the tax bill on them. He slowly moved them over to my name so when he passes pr can't drive anymore they do not get me for death tax. |

I drove an F430 and that is a very fun ride. They are definitely worth the cost to buy, but as someone else said, the cost for regularly scheduled maintenance will be staggering.

purchase cost is the easy part (relative), maintaining/repairing the dang thing is a completely different story $$$$.

Well I didn't own it but I had a F430 for five months two summers ago, my buddy and I switched cars for the summer. He took my M6 and I took has F430. Great car, gas sucker. Hated that damn thing was at a gas station every other day, thats when I figured out why he was so damn eager to trade for the summer. I got lit up that summer paying 3.75 plus for gas. Transmissions like no other tho, F-1 trans makes it very easy to drive and maintain RPMS. They are great cars but unless you arent driving it much it will cost a ton in gas and just an oil change to own. I got the oil changed while I had it and cost 925 out of pocket and that was a deal.

I've gotten to drive ferraris and lambos along with some other great cars, because I rent them out a lot. So eventually I plan on owning one and I do know that they are a pain to maintain.

My place did a clutch in a Diablo SV AWD Roadster. Labor etc parts were a $12,000 bill.
