Finally getting the last part of my huge tat done today.

Like 12 hours total, all solid red and black, scorpion tribal work. 5th session. Pics tomorrow after the bandage gets pulled off. Then its off to work on the left arm lol.

They actually don't hurt. The needle is smaller than the ones doctors use.

Everyone is different its not too bad for me but it can hurt ALOT depending on the area and what gets done. Most of my red was done with a 6needle cluster. Going at an average rate of 8,000 times per minute. Thats like 50,000 times per hour or 125,000 times in what I just got done. Probly more because the speed had to be increased because of red is really thick. It can hurt lol. stuff on my collarbone and by the armpit was probly the worst. I have first hand experience as Im sure alot do and its not the most pleasant thing. I love pain though I can center in on it and it calms my brain from constantly going a million directions at once. Its actually theraputic in a way for me.

Isn't it weird lol I have the insides of my biceps tatted. I tell everyone it didn't hurt and they bust out with the whole, "Oh you are just trying to be a badass". Then I immediately ask 'em to show me there tatted interior biceps (which of course they don't have)... and then I just leave it at that

Just took off the bandage. My tattoo guy Greg says hes never seen so much red. I love it!
As far as the meaning the scorpion is stylized by three letters. The W at the top is for Wend my mom who passed when I was 12, the Legs are all lil r's for a ver good friend of mine Roxanne and the tail is S shaped for Sharlene whom is a godsend from some really bad times that helped me through some nasty shit. Why a Scorpion? Theyre all scorpios which is really interesting. The lil crest in the circle is my initials which is the reason the claws for the Wendy W are embracing it. The over the shoulder red and black ia because Shar has jet black and bright re hair so when ever I look over shes always on my shoulder as a great friend and companion. So it all works in a wierd way. To me it makes tons of sense lol.
