right

i'm sure if you meet an off-world person and they give you a ride to examine the moon and the planets, you will be surprised with what you find and who is there. you would probably laugh for a very long time. there is a reason why there is no public sponsored enthusiasm for space travel. search from within and you should figure it out. adios

That's too bad NASA is having to cut back, but I can't argue that these are the best times to invest in space. Once the economy picks up, I'm sure the NASA budget will return and we will put men and women on Mars. Then a Jovian moon. The delay sucks, though, because some of us may not live to see the next great NASA accomplishments.

No i wish people like us were allowed to go to space, but we're not. I was just saying what the public thinks we "have not" accomplished yet, we actually already have. The public space program is just a PR movement. the important people already know who and what is there. They have all that information. If they need to go out there, then they do. they don't need to check with the public when they fly to the moon and back, or anywhere else. they also don't need to use a rocket or anything else low tech. that's all I meant earlier.

You guys do know that the whole astronauts on the moon may have been just something that stanley kubrick filmed. I'm not saying that space exploration is bull, because the many of the programs were and are real, but when it comes to the the fact that people stepped on the moon, well there is a severe gap of information lapsing.
I actually had a mechanical professor who worked for nasa on the apollo program and he was trying to explain to us how nasa was trying to come up with ideas to build the altair spacecraft. What I didn't understand was that when somebody asked him shouldn't be a lot easier to come up with this spacecraft seeing as how they had done it before, and therefore had blueprints and/or another spacecraft to reverse engineer, the professor's answer wasn't concise at all.

They landed on the moon. The Kubrick film is a ruse to make people think we didn't go, but we did. The Kubrick film is also so they can present a different moon from the actual one. you don't really think they would let you see the real moon do you with all the artifacts, crashed space ships, etc? That whole area is classified. Hope that makes sense.

So you claim that these "people" don't need to use a rocket or anything else low tech. So are you suggesting that these "people" use on of the following - alien spacecraft, already developed technology that as far as we know is still in the stages of planning, can transport themselves or use magic. Er... right.

And not only that but these so called "important people", who are they? Politicians? Astronauts? the Dali lama?

And them being in space, when do they go? Is it when nasa sends the space shuttles to the international space station to do maintenance?

Next time, please don't talk out of your a**, and at least back all of this stuff up with research, statistics and data.

Ha

It's kind of funny that you got so upset with what I said. I stand by every word of it. If you want to believe "nasa" is the real space program go ahead. I could care less.

Classified? Crashed space ships?

It can't be classified, it's not like area 51 that's right in the middle of the nevada desert and nobody can infiltrate.

No one, no government and as such, no entity can lay claim to the stake of the moon.

And no, the kubrick film was done as a ruse to show people that astronauts may indeed go to the moon. It was done so that the loss of lives and money could be avoided.

No I'm not upset, but I'm pretty sure that you are either a troll or a 12 year old child. If you stand by what you are saying then back it up, I would like to read some articles that can show what you are saying to be true.

Just try to unlearn what you've learned. The magic and the fantasy is what you have been taught to believe, in order to make sure you do not get any ideas about exploring space. you sound convinced that every spectacular discovery in space, gets printed in a book or on cnn, but it doesn't. I'm trying to help you. The space shuttle itself is a huge pile of junk. I'm surprised they risked people's lives putting them inside that thing. Do your own research on your own. I don't have the time to elaborate on anything else. We have accomplished feats that would probably keep you up all night. Stop thinking mankind is as limited as you think it is. Or keep on thinking that. Like I said I could care less.
