Ugh! It's too early for this

If today's temp (80) is any indication of the weather to come, it's going to be a loooooong summer.

Where????????????????????????????????????????

Dang I miss 80 degree weather, it wasn't even like that when I went to fl for winter break. Hopefully it will already be in the 60s by spring break.

I understand your misery, I was born and raised in Indiana and lived in central Kansas for 10 years but living in Phoenix for the last nine years, I am spoiled by the winter weather. However, I am never ready for the 30,40,50 straight days of 100+ degree days. And being that it's March 3rd and 80, does not bode well for the upcoming summer. Hopefully, this is just a one or two day thing and it will get back to the low 70's as a high.

Yeah I can see what you mean there. My parents moved down to Apache Junction last winter, and I was wondering if the summer heat would start buggin them. They didn't seem to mind last year, we'll see how the hold up for this summer

Dry heat is still hot! Instead of feeling like you're in a sauna, it feels like you're in an oven left on high! I lived in Oklahoma for a few years and I know what 100 degrees with 90% humidity feels like, but 115 air temp feels like 125 in the sun. Thank God for air conditioning or life here in Vegas would not exist.

Are you f...in kiddin me, my cars have been in the garage 3 + months and at least another month to go...I lived there before and I'll trade you any day.
I was out there Aug 08 dropping my oldest son off @ ASU, it was the first time I had been back there in 22 yrs, it hovered around 105* the whole time, I'll take it, the few months or so that it's brutal is far better than the winter months here, and even in the summer it seems like 50% of the weekends it rains.
Enjoy it , moving away from there was one of the biggest mistakes I've made...and hope to remedy it in the next five years or so, take a ride out to the Scottsdale Pavillions this Saturday evening and then tell me how bad you got it.

The weather ain't too bad in AZ. The dry heat makes it bearable. Even when I've been in 115* heat, it still only feels like 95-100* just about anywhere else. It's the only place I ever see people drive around with the windows down when it's 90-95 in the day.

At least you guys in az have it a hell of a lot better than us on the east coast. I go to fl a lot for various reasons, and while there having gone a good amount of times to the parks in orlando in 90 plus with humidity SUCKS!

I've always wondered though, if people have outside pools or yards in arizona and the dust storms that people complain about over there move through, how do things not get dirty.

I know all about the cold and humidity; they suck majorly. I am just saying, its March 3rd and 80 already; which means 90's are very close which means 100's are not far behind. You know, in the summer, sometimes our low is higher than your high. I do know this, I hate the cold more than the heat, so I won't be moving from here anytime soon. I always told myself, the first time it snows here and sticks, I am moving.

Actually, if its 115 outside, its probably more like 110 in the shade or if there is a breeze, mabye 105. I have never seen it here be 115 and feel 95; that would be pretty great actually.

Oh, I know all about humidity, and it sucks big ass. But, 115 is still 115, dry heat or not. And nothing stays clean in a huge dust storm. I feel sorry for the people with pools and no pool cover.

Well the good news is you can start turning off your pool heater! I spent a year in the Phoenix area and a year in Palm Desert and I work outside for a living! Sure it gets hot but I'll take it any day over the year I spent in Fargo, ND!
