Carne Asada.............

Question about cooking Carne Asada...........

I bought some pre-marinated Carne Asada that I want to cook tonight. Normally, I would cook it on a grill and call it dinner.

However..........at this current moment, I don't own a grill.

anyone have any tips on cooking it on the stove? Or oven?

Dig a hole outside far enough away from any structures, put in your briquettes and use the wire rack from your oven. Sear the meat for 1 minute, each side, while the fire is hot. Let the fire die down to coals, cook for an additonal 1.5 - 2 minutes each side. Roast (with coals) some peppers (2-3 min each side) and sliced zucchini (5-6 min each side) while you're at it.
MMMMMM YUM!

Refill the hole the next morning after the coals are cold.

Times are approximate; cook to taste.
