Seriously. I respect its top speed but that's about it.

Congrats to him on his new car. Imagine the dealership when he pulled up in his Bugatti.. lol

We can't afford to buy your trade.

Which brings me to my next point who "trades" a Bugatti-- why not just sell it out right?
Trading it in was waaaaay more bad ass.

He's impulsive. Probably just traded in because he was tired of it and saw something else he wanted. He traded in his Diablo before this on a Murcielago...I guess he at least stuck with the exotics on this one...

Probably wasn't worth his TIME to sell it.

This is one of the few times when buying a $100k+ can be regarded as being more sensible.

from the article:

the dealership told us they wouldn't accept the trade-in until they lined up a buyer, which they did.

Not that a guy that trades in a Veyron on a ZR1 has to worry about money
According to his mechanic, it cost $100,000 a year to maintain his McLaren F1. New tires every 5k miles, new bushings every 10k, stuff like that adds up! He sold that one with something like 40k miles on it. That's like a million miles on a Camaro.

Probably didn't want to bother with it; it took something like 6 mo to sell his Enzo. I imagine if he wants something gone, it should just disappear lol

Just saw this on LS1tech, friggin awesome!

Who could blame the guy though, ZR1 is badass, and lacks that pungent smell of garlic

Local board posted that George Jones (country singer) bought the car. First sale fell through but he is having it shipped to him. I could be wrong as that's all hearsay since i'm not in the immediate area anymore.

why the hell would a country singer want this kind of car?

that's just bad publicity.

dude...that was totally done on purpose! That was insurance right there...and the dude probably had NO idea he was being video taped!

I mean...flood the car....HAS to be totalled...or a LOT of repair that goes into it. Insurance fraud....
