Yes.

And Chevy could have dumped Zeta and used and old platform to save on development costs, but they needed to spice up the new models.

Same thought process on the Z.

Think about it. Nissan is a japanese company. the Japs think they're the greatest thing since sliced bread, thus their backing of the GTR. They are 'here to show the world what they can do' why cut themselves short by putting an outdated slushbox instead of a state of the art one?

did you miss that thread earlier about lolsan wanting 20k to repair and replace a GT-R transmission becuase he used the launch control and BLEW it up? two ways to look at it, its a POS transmission you wouldnt want in thousands of cars OR its an expensive transmission you wouldnt want in that many cars....

No i saw it. but... 480hp GTR vs. 350 hp 370z. im sure the tranny can support the added power.

and they blew the tranny after turning the VDC off, im sure it runs fine with it on.

and my point is you wont have enough power/weight to do any real damage to the car...

And people should read and FOLLOW the damn manual when they get the car, so that if something does go wrong, the Japs have to fix it

Doesn't do anything for me. Gives me a "ricey" vibe...can't pin down why...
