Alright just so things don't get carried away. I was not knocking everyone from California. I have several good friends and family here that are some of the nicest people you will ever meet. I have just never seen so many rude and inconsiderate people. I have traveled all around the world with the military and on personal adventures and there are rude people everywhere... I have just never experienced the things that happened to me this weekend anywhere else. I know the population here makes it a higher %. Today while we were eating at In-n-Out burger someone decided to use the bed of my truck as a trash can. The funny thing is they actually set their cups and trash on top of some boxes that were in the back that I was taking to storage for my uncle. I guess people think that a nice truck is just a truck and should not be taken care of. I mean it is a 2006 but I keep it really nice.

I've learned that someone that has nice things can expect someone, that is not willing to work hard to attain nice things, to not treat your possesions with care. It's a mentality of, "If I can't have it then they don't deserve it either." ;aka JEALOUSY.

That IS a nice lookin truck, and I'd be pissed if someone disrespected my vehicle like that too. Though my reaction would have been more along the lines of 'Um, excuse me.... wtf do you think you are doing?'

This lady comes out and sets her to go box and some other things right on my hood while she goes digging in her purse. I was like excuse me but do you mind not using my truck as a table... they just looked at me like I should not be asking them that and were like it's just a truck. That it may be but it is my truck and not yours and I am particular about my paint. If that would have been the camaro there may have been some more words. I am not viewing the whole state as rude and inconsiderate based on a few, just saying I have never seen so many rude people. Okay I am coming down off my soap box now.
You should have took her to go box and launched it through the parking lot.

This is so true about California. The last time I as there I flew into San Diego. I went to the information booth in the airport lobby because I had a question about something (I don't remember what), and the lady said "You aren't from California are you?" I chuckled and said "no." It was the fact that I said "please" and "thank you" (like we still do in the Midwest) that was a dead giveaway.

Nice rims on that truck by the way!!

I can't believe that people in california could be worse than people in philly. IF that's the case I won't ever go to california. Oh and by the way, not everyone in Pa is racist as one poster claimed.

What about them jackholes that drive 1-2MPH below the speed limit until you pass them, and then they wanna speed up like your running blocker for them.

Life long Californian here, it's gotten worse over the last 20 years. Growing up it was a nice place to live and people were generally friendly. Freindliest people I've ever met were from Tennesse. Been going back there every year for the cup race at Bristol and in all the years I've never had a bad experience. If you put 160,000 people in one place here in CA you'd need several riot squads and the National Guard on standby.

I agree....people from Tennessee are the best. If you put 160,000 people from Tennessee together you can bet everyone you meet will know at least one person you know, they will tell you stories that will have your stomach hurting from laughter.....and you better have A LOT of Maker's Mark and Crown because they know how to drink the whiskey!
