Why do Mustang owners have so much hate towards Camaro owners? - Page 16

we can not brag with a half second advantage. But he can brag with an unknown advantage(from the looks of it much less than half second). Look at the GT500....only running 12.8s in the quarter mile in all these tests. It is 10k more expensive and has over 100hp more. Its fun talking like a fool.

Get a life dude....I probably see 3-4 f you kids a week that register on here and act a fool. Or just re-register and troll it. Thats always classic. Or maybe you all ready have.

Constant bragging is ridiculous even if the claims are true.

Is that really the claim to fame for Camaro owners? They beat the Mustang??? I would hope that the car has some other things going for it aside from it being better than ONE OTHER CAR. That's all I'm saying. They're similar in performance and a Stang owner can't go anywhere on this forum without the constant reminder that the Camaro is god's gift to the world.

It's all good to me, as I may be looking for a new Z-28 in the future. All of the new "muscle" reminds me of fun I had in the '70s, when friends drove cool American toys... While I've never owned a Camaro, I used to have the cousin of one that I now miss; a '68 Firebird 'vert., with the 350 (Pontiac) & Muncie 4-speed. Sorry I sold that one.

At this point in time I'm thankful that we have modern American muscle cars, and in several flavors..! Life sure would suck if we all had to drive something as embarrassingly ugly as the smart cars... Not that there's anything wrong with them...

Wow! I cant believe this thread is still going. It does make me wonder why all of the guy's register on here. Myabe it's because there hasn't been a Camaro in a while but some of you guy's need to chill with the mine's better than your's shit. Oh by the way mine is better than your's.

I have looked on a few mustang sites now and again. I have never registered and wasted my time arguing with people, but I have got a taste for the outlook on those sites.

Overwhelming consensus on the camaro.....it is slow for how much power it has. Some people say they like the looks but most do not. It can just barely beat a new mustang and most of all that the 5.0 is going to take over the world. Amongst MANY MANY other thing I dont feel like listing.

Just as bad or WORSE than this site when it comes to hating. Mustang guys seem even more bitter if you ask me. Because deep down it burns them to the core that the camaro has been spanking the GT for a long time (strait line perf.). They always go back to the Cobra or what is coming next argument...which is classic. But hey I am sure we would do the same thing if the shoe were on the other foot (which it may be very soon). But for you to sit here and say we are biased on a camaro forum...? are you kidding me? go back to the mustang forums if you dont like it.

And hell yeah the camaro is gods gift to the world. I F'ing love them. Why in the world do you think I spent over 30k on one? I sure dont go around spending 32k on things that I dont love...I wouldnt spend 32k on a mustang I can promise you that. But many people would and thats fine with me.

I don't hate I appreciate. My camaro is my first car but before it i was thinking about a mustang but it lack the power i was looking for and mpg. Now I do not go to another forum and post, alway camaro5 because is all about my car and nothing else. But whoever has mustang and post on camaro5 they love our car, or works for ford to see if they can change some heart. Emphasis that this is a big Camaro forum where most of the camaro owner come and look info up.

if they were the workers for ford then it is because they got laid off b/c of the camaro
if it was people in general it is because their car used to be the baddest thing then came the camaro and the mustang just became another car... so they want that head turn that the camaro gets that no other car really get's under $50k

1st , Let me say I love the 5th gen SS camaros!!! The mustang guys on here are unreal, Mustang owners are for a large part one of a kind. I here this kind of manure from them around my neck of the woods constantly. This forum was called CAMARO5 when I registered and I take it it still is? Stands to reason people here will tend to favor 5th gen camaros. I love my 2010 summit white 2SS/RS, it very much reminds me of my first car a 69 SS/RS 396 4 speed car. P.S. my new camaro seems to be pretty fast (have not been to the track yet but have a little experience with fast camaros) I would think judgeing by the performance of our local mustangs my 2010 SS would have no problem dragging one of the new mules down the strip,but if I did run across one that was modded enough to out run my 2010 I would shake his hand and ask him if he would like a rematch with my modded Camaro

What's sad. A friend of mine "Mustang Enthusiast", when talking sh!t, always compares the Mustang GT against the V6 Camaro. He really got ticked when I showed him the "900 People get laid off from Ford" thread. He said that Mustang enthusiast "Douchebags" were waiting until the 2011's come out because the V6 Mustang will have a womping 305 Horsepower. Then I said "Mitch, there you go making uneven comparisons" when he said that the 2011's will beat the 2010 Camaro. Then said "Just imagine how much of a horse-gain the 2011 Camaros will have. Then he shut up, and haven't heard from him since. So the thing that's sad is knowing when your argument has no logical solution in the end, because in the long-run, there really isn't no comparison.

I have to say that I really respect the Mustang guys on this forum, mostly for putting up with the Camaro fanboy crap that I've seen (namecalling like "Rustang"

). The whole reason I was able to afford a Camaro was that I was originally saving for a Mustang ever since I was in high school, and I just changed my mind when I saw the new Camaros. If I were loaded, I'd own a Z28 and a Shelby GT500 (and a Z06 Vette, but that's beside the point

).

I wave to the owners of yellow Mustangs with black stripes that match my Camaro. People that hate on our fellow American-made cars are just dumb. We can all have our opinions, but sometimes it's better to keep your mouth shut (figuratively, since we're on a forum), than to say silly, derogatory things.
