You could i guess... COKE is just a generic term for any softdrink here in TEXAS.... But personly, I think "soda" Sounds dumb.. AND "POP" sounds.. well retarded.. but thats just My opinion... Not saying that the person whos says ***** is dumb or anything just that it sounds dumb....

I live in SODA. 100% of us Hayns (Hawaiians) all say soda. There is no dominant brand, so we ask what kind you want.

I grew up in a military family so I heard many different terms, then when I graduated I joined the military and again still heard many different terms. To me though, it has been and always will be soda.

I call it Pop when I'm home (midwest), but coke everywhere else (I'm in the military).

Well, I don't drink soda, so there's that... but I also can't answer because hailing from the Midwest (MI) it's pop, and out here in CA where I live now it's soda.

But I still call it pop when I go back there or talk to any of my relatives there.

i dont like drinking soda, its water for me.
but sometimes i do and i prefer Pepsi. I dont like hearing my teeth squeak after i take a few drinks (sorry coke)
