this is as much a shot for them to be relevant again as ford and gm
Since this jumbo, they've lost an additional 8% in sales or something. I just read about it lol. Chrysler will most likely be the weakest link for several years to come.

Chrysler has yet to get back on it's feet imo. Look at all these new and improved models from Ford and GM. Where is Chrysler in all of this?

They've developed a new paint color for the challenger. I think they've done enough.

Chrysler Corp has, at best, competitive products, and that represents less then half their lineup. They don't have anything that is outstanding. GM and Ford have been releasing new models for some time, and nearly each one of those has made a big impression. They have the product, it was a lack of consideration thats been holding them back. Chrysler hasn't had much lately, and there isn't much to be expected in the near future. For the most part, we will have to wait a year and a half for new life to be injected into the company.

How can they expect to gain sales with the nearly the same cars which few people want to go out and buy? Polarizing styling sometimes works, but but they've had more misses than hits lately. Their quality is below average in most of their vehicles, as is their fuel economy. So while theyhave this opportunity, they have nothing to really capitalize on it with, aside from maybe picking up a few SUV buyers. But those who were interested in the Camry will head for the Accord, Malibu, or Fusion. Each one is better than the Avenger. Similar story with small cars.

God the Avenger is terrible, trying to pull out on the highway with that stock engine is dangerous.

So a few million Toyotas recalled and almost a million Hondas, glad I have a Pontiac. lol for now.

According to the article the number for the Honda recall is actually 818,758.
Quote:
last year, Honda dramatically expanded that recall by nearly 440,000 units, adding the 2002 Accord and the 2002/2003 Acura TL to the list. Now, the recall has enlarged by another 378,758 vehicles
