I loved that show and Capt Phil was a good dude.

This is one of my all time favorite shows, maybe because I’m half Norwegian and half Swede! But I can't believe he is gone. God Bless him and his family. I guess all the coffee, cigarettes, and stress finally did him in.

Cap'n Phil lived on Red Bulls and Cigarettes. He also ate egg sandwiches all the time. He was one of my favorite Captains (apart from the Maverick crew). I liked the guy but damn...shoulda taken care of himself a little better.

The lur of big money was more important then a long life to him, which has to really suck for his kids.

He should of taken better care of himself.
